Poster for a BGS event designed in 2016

BGS stands for Brussels Gay Sports, it is a non-profit organisation which started in 1991 by a group of friends who played volleyball. Since then, it has grown to an organisation with more than 750 members who all have something in common, they all want to create a welcoming environment for all while promoting athletic and creative activities. Every second weekend of September, BGS organizes its annual multi-sports tournament. At the end of the tournament all members and participants are invited to the BGS party a creative show put together entirely by volunteers, talented make-up artists and lovers of drag. In 2016, they asked me to create a poster for this party. I have only participated to their show the previous years so I gladly accepted to create the poster as well!

I wanted to make a fun but also subtle visual for this poster as previously they had quite colourful let’s say image heavy posters. I used some brush vectors to create the put together the main visual and a fun font to go with it.
